My mom make homemade baklava every year for the New Yearโs eve table and it always has a lot of walnuts and butter! ๐ This is a family recipe, not the original Turkish recipe. I just added my favourite brown butter to make the ultimate baklava recipe! ๐ You have to make it! ๐ Itโs so good!

Ingredients for 12 persons:
800 g filo pastry for baklava (or regular filo pastry)
350 g walnuts
250 g butter
100 g sugar
30 g plain biscuits
ยผ tsp cinnamon
For sugar syrup:
500 g sugar
500 ml water
1 tsp vanilla
4 tbsp lemon juice
